AGORIA & MUSÉE D’ORSAY TEAM UP ON NFT EXHIBITION

The Musée d’Orsay has set off on a bold exploration of new artistic frontiers with the inclusion of renowned French artist Agoria. Presenting an exhibition titled Le code d’Orsay, set to run from February 13th to March 10th, Agoria aims to illuminate the intersection between the evolution of experimental art, particularly impressionism, and the museum’s vast collection.

At the heart of the Le code d’Orsay exhibition, Agoria will unveil two mesmerizing works on the Tezos blockchain. The first piece, Σ Lumina, promises visitors a journey into the realms of poetry and experimentation, offering a unique sensory experience. Meanwhile, the second work, Interpretation by Saccharomyces cerevisiae of The Painter’s Studio by Gustave Courbet, delves into the symbiotic relationship between art and science, underscoring the artist's belief in the intrinsic connection between the cryptic digital world and the tangible living realm.

Complementing these visual spectacles, Agoria has composed a musical homage to the Musée d’Orsay. This evocative composition was unveiled to museum patrons as a special preview on February 13th, with its official debut happening this past February 23rd during Agoria’s exclusive DJ Set within the museum’s majestic nave.

Sébastien Devaud, the visionary force behind Agoria, is celebrated for his adept fusion of physical and virtual realms, seamlessly blurring the boundaries between reality and cryptic dimensions. A significant figure in the emergent Web3 landscape, Devaud channels his creative energies into the realm of biological generative art, harnessing the power of algorithms, artificial intelligence, and data sourced from the living world. Through collaborative efforts with leading scientists, Agoria endeavors to pioneer a novel synthesis of art, music, the Metaverse, and scientific inquiry, seamlessly integrating the living world into the fabric of blockchain innovation.
