AIR COMMEMORATES 25 YEARS OF ‘MOON SAFARI’ AT SÓNAR 2024

French electronic duo Air is set to commemorate the 25th anniversary of their seminal debut album, Moon Safari, in a momentous celebration at Sónar 2024. Taking place in Barcelona on Friday, June 14th, this eagerly anticipated event will see Air grace the main stage of Sónar by Night, where they will perform the album in its entirety.

Following a hiatus spanning seven years, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel are poised to make a triumphant return to the stage, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience the timeless allure of Moon Safari brought to life in a live setting. Originally released in 1998, Moon Safari stands as a cherished classic, emblematic of the golden era of French electronic music. Fusing downtempo rhythms with the evocative melodies of chanson française, the album captivated listeners with its ethereal blend of romance and mystery. Tracks such as Sexy Boy, All I Need, and La Femme d’Argent have etched themselves into the collective consciousness, solidifying Air's status as icons of the genre.
