Björk to headline Brooklyn's 'K Bridge' with DJ set

Björk is set to headline a DJ set under Brooklyn's 'K Bridge' on Friday, May 10th. The Icelandic icon will be joined by a stellar lineup including Jlin, Mun Sing, and Shygirl. Additionally, Eartheater and Sega Bodega will treat the audience to DJ sets.

The event will unfold at Under the K Bridge Park, an industrial-inspired venue nestled beneath the Kosciusko Bridge, which spans Newton Creek, connecting New York's bustling boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens.

In recent news, Olof Dreijer of The Knife unveiled his remix of Björk and Rosalía's 2023 collaboration, “Oral”. The original track addressed the environmental consequences of salmon fishing in Iceland, while the remix incorporates a tamborim, a percussion instrument typically found in samba music.

This follows last year's remix of Björk's “Ovule” by Shy Girl and Sega Bodega, further solidifying the collaborative spirit among these talented artists.

Pre-sale for tickets kicked off on Thursday, April 11th at 10 AM Eastern Time, with the general sale following on Friday, April 12th at 10 AM Eastern Time.
