COACHELLA INTRODUCES NEW EDM STAGE
Coachella, one of the most anticipated music festivals globally, is set to elevate its dance music experience with the introduction of a new stage named Quasar.
Unveiled via social media, Quasar promises to deliver extended three-hour DJ sets, offering festival-goers an immersive journey into the realm of electronic music. Presented by Goldenvoice, the stage will feature two monolithic LED walls and will be situated adjacent to the Eldorado Polo Club.
Confirmed acts for Quasar include renowned names in the dance music scene such as Honey Dijon and Green Velvet on April 12th, followed by Michael Bibi the next day. The closing day will see performances from Jamie XX, Floating Points, and Daphni.
During the second weekend of Coachella, attendees can look forward to sets from Rüfüs Du Sol on April 19th, a sunset performance by Eric Prydz and Anyma on April 20th, and Diplo and Mau P concluding the stage’s inaugural festival appearance on April 21st.
The introduction of Quasar follows recent modifications to the festival's iconic Sahara stage, which has been relocated and resized, now positioned between Avenue 51 and Polo Road.
In addition to Quasar, Coachella's lineup boasts an impressive array of artists, including Charlotte de Witte, Justice, Steve Angello, DJ Snake, Dom Dolla, and many more.
While Weekend One passes are already sold out, tickets for Weekend Two are still available for purchase. For those interested in attending the festival or seeking further information, visit the official Coachella website.
