Faithless to release new studio album, ‘Champion Sound’

Faithless have revealed the title of their upcoming album, Champion Sound, and have released a new single, “Find A Way”, featuring London poet Suli Breaks. You can listen to the track below.

The iconic electronic group is currently on its first live tour since the passing of their beloved former vocalist, Maxi Jazz, in December 2022. This tour marks their return to the stage after an eight-year hiatus, including a recent performance at Glastonbury in late June. Despite this significant loss, surviving members Sister Bliss and Rollo have continued to create music, with “Find A Way” being their first release since the 2020 album All Blessed.

The announcement of Champion Sound and the new single come amidst a series of live shows across the EU and UK. While the album's release date has not yet been disclosed, the band is clearly moving forward with new projects.

In April, Faithless shared news of their upcoming music on Instagram, expressing their ongoing dedication despite Maxi Jazz's long illness and subsequent passing. They wrote: Maxi died just over a year ago and obviously we miss him every day. Thank you for all your kind words of support over this last year. It has really, really meant a lot. In the meantime, we never stopped (couldn't stop, never wanted to stop!) making music. Even during Maxi's long illness we recorded and released 'All Blessed', and now finally, eight years after our last live performance, we are returning to festival stages."

While more details about Champion Sound are forthcoming, you can listen to “Find A Way” featuring Suli Breaks below.
