Josh Wink celebrates 30-year career with ‘The Deepness’

Celebrating his 30-year milestone in the music industry, Josh Wink has released a new 2-track EP titled The Deepness through his renowned Ovum Recordings. This EP exemplifies Wink’s enduring creativity and his signature sound that has captivated the electronic music scene for decades.

The title track, “The Deepness”, is a seven-minute journey that melds depth with cinematic elements, showcasing Wink's exploration of sound. The EP also features the track “IZ”, which balances expansive soundscapes with intense house and acid sounds, highlighting Wink’s versatility and innovative approach.

Josh Wink has been a significant force in electronic music since the 90s, known for his classic hit “Higher State of Consciousness”. His label, Ovum Recordings, has released over 400 tracks, supporting the growth and development of numerous electronic artists worldwide. The Deepness EP has already garnered praise from notable artists such as Laurent Garnier, Sama Abdulhadi, and Honey Dijon.

To mark his three-decade career, Wink is embarking on a global tour this summer, with notable appearances including a set with Kerri Chandler at Carl Cox’s ‘Birthday On The Beach’. This tour underscores Wink's ongoing influence and passion for electronic music.
