LISTEN TO CHARLI XCX & GESAFFEISTEIN's ‘B2b’
Charli XCX and Gesaffelstein have unveiled their latest collaborative single, “B2b,” offering listeners a glimpse into Charli XCX's upcoming "club record," BRAT.
“B2b” is one of two fresh tracks featured on BRAT, the other being “Club Classics,” both of which showcase Charli XCX's signature style and Gesaffelstein's production prowess.
The album's lead single, “Von Dutch,” produced by EASYFUN, was released earlier this year in February, setting the stage for what Charli XCX describes as "the album I've always wanted to make." She emphasizes her roots in dance music and her affinity for the club scene, stating that she "came from the clubs" and was destined to create music for them. BRAT is slated for release on June 7th.
Meanwhile, Gesaffelstein, the acclaimed French producer, recently dropped his third studio album, Gamma, via Columbia Records, showcasing his continued evolution in the electronic music landscape.
Charli XCX also paid homage to her late friend and collaborator SOPHIE with the release of “So I,” a tribute track unveiled during Billboard's Women In Music Event. SOPHIE and Charli XCX shared a longstanding creative partnership, with collaborative projects such as the Vroom Vroom EP in 2015.
