SPLICE INTRODUCES SPLICE MOBILE

Splice, the acclaimed platform synonymous with music creation, has unveiled a revamped mobile application aimed at streamlining the music-making process, harnessing its extensive library of sounds and loops.

Debuting on both Android and iOS platforms, Splice Mobile brings to fruition the Create a Stack concept, a hallmark feature of the desktop site, now optimized for mobile devices. This innovative approach allows users to swiftly generate musical ideas by seamlessly cycling through a plethora of compatible loops sourced from Splice's vast catalog, all facilitated by cutting-edge AI technology.

The functionality of Splice Mobile revolves around the creation of "Stacks," each initiated by the user's selection of a genre, ranging from RnB and hip-hop to EDM, lo-fi, house, and beyond. Once the genre is chosen, Splice Mobile constructs a cohesive layer of loops that resonate harmoniously and align within a similar BPM range, with the app dynamically adjusting tempo and pitch as needed. Users can then interchange individual components such as basslines, vocals, percussion, drums, and more, with the capability to stack up to eight layers simultaneously. Leveraging AI algorithms, swiping right to add a sound to a Stack prompts the app to scour the entire catalog for complementary elements, facilitating fluid creativity.

Furthermore, Splice Mobile empowers users with comprehensive mixing capabilities, allowing for precise control over loop volumes via intuitive faders. Upon finalizing a musical idea, users can export it directly to industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Ableton Live and Studio One, retaining the integrity of the composition. Alternatively, users can access the original sample packs, export individual stems, or export the stereo mix as a WAV file. Notably, every saved Stack on the mobile app seamlessly syncs with the user's desktop environment, ensuring continuity across platforms.

Available as a free application, Splice Mobile can be downloaded now via the respective app stores for both Android and iOS devices. For further insights into the app's functionalities, interested users can explore the accompanying video or visit the Splice website for additional information.

This launch marks Splice's latest foray into the mobile realm, following the release of the CoSo app in 2022, further solidifying its commitment to revolutionizing music creation across diverse platforms.
