Sven Väth headlines free electronic music festival, Sound | Escape
Sound | Escape returns to Kitzbühel from March 28-30, 2025, bringing a curated lineup of house, techno, and electronic music to the alpine setting. The festival is free to attend and takes place across various locations in the historic town and surrounding mountains.
Leading the lineup is Sven Väth, alongside artists such as Matthias Tanzmann, Tom Novy, Tube & Berger, Kilimanjaro, Lunnas, Marvin Aloys, and Wolfram. The festival focuses on underground electronic music, blending established international acts with emerging talent.
Daytime performances are set against the backdrop of Kitzbühel’s mountain scenery, while nighttime events move into the town’s historic core, utilizing its unique architecture to create an immersive atmosphere. Unlike many large-scale electronic festivals, Sound | Escape emphasizes accessibility, eliminating ticket costs and VIP sections.
Festival founder Marvin Aloys highlights the significance of securing Sven Väth as a headliner: “He has been a key figure in the electronic music scene for decades, and having him perform reinforces our goal of creating an inclusive, music-focused event.”
With rising ticket prices across the festival industry, Sound | Escape offers a distinctive alternative—bringing high-caliber electronic music to an open and accessible environment.
