Airrica debuts on Crosstown Rebels with ‘Hi Speed Lover’

Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Airrica has made her debut on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels with the Hi Speed Lover EP, following her initial release on the sister label Rebellion. The EP comprises two original tracks, each accompanied by its own remix.

The title track, “Hi Speed Lover”, is a bass-heavy, groove-infused composition that melds warped vocals with rhythmic drums and resonant strings. Nick Morgan's remix adds a distinctive touch, introducing dubby low-ends and soft keys for a hazy, atmospheric reinterpretation.

The second track, “Cherries”, features metallic beats paired with subtle vocals and an acid-infused bassline. KinAhau’s remix offers a refined exploration of rich textures, providing an ethereal and immersive conclusion to the EP.

Airrica’s productions capture the thrill of dance floor unity, drawing inspiration from moments of heightened energy. “Hi Speed Lover” features powerful vocals from Jazz Alonso, while “Cherries” showcases Airrica's experimentation with her own voice.
