BICEP & BENJAMIN DAMAGE UNVEIL NEW TRACK

Bicep, the electronic duo comprising Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar, have unveiled their latest track, “CHROMA 002 L.A.V.A,” in collaboration with techno artist Benjamin Damage. This release marks the second offering under their own label, CHROMA, which serves as a platform for underground, club-centric productions.

Embodying CHROMA's ethos of covering a wide spectrum "from Acid to Alkaline," “CHROMA 002 L.A.V.A” reflects the label's commitment to pushing boundaries in electronic music. Bicep and Benjamin Damage, collectively known as B.D.B, have a longstanding history of collaboration dating back to 2013.

The genesis of “L.A.V.A” traces back to jam sessions in London, evolving over time with the addition of Clara's vocals. Alongside their musical endeavors, the CHROMA project encompasses curated events, a unique visual identity, and a dynamic Bicep AV/DJ show. The label's debut single, “CHROMA 001 HELIUM,” garnered widespread acclaim and earned recognition as BBC Radio 1's “Hottest Record.”

“This is one of several tracks we’ll be releasing with Ben this year,” explained Bicep. “It was recorded over several jam sessions last year with Ben at our studio in London. We always find it exciting to come together with no preconceived ideas, free to experiment and see what emerges from the sessions. Initially, this track was a tougher and straighter tune, which slowly developed into “L.A.V.A” with the addition of Clara’s killer vocals! There’s much more to come!”

Bicep recently announced a series of Bicep Presents CHROMA events set to take place in London's Finsbury Park and Brighton Beach. These performances blend DJ and live elements, allowing Bicep to explore and harmonize the visual and musical aspects of their artistry.
