Carlita announces debut album, 'Sentimental'

Carlita has announced her debut album, Sentimental, set to release on November 15th through the prestigious Ninja Tune imprint. The album comprises 12 tracks and features collaborations with notable artists such as DJ Tennis, Cleo Simone, and SG Lewis. The lead single, "The Moment", featuring SG Lewis, has been released ahead of the album and is already available for streaming.

In a statement about the album, Carlita expressed her desire to showcase a different side of her musical artistry: "I want fans to see a different side to me musically. I think most people come to my shows at clubs and festivals and see me playing lots of big club records, but I want people to hear this album and really see a different side to me musically and be left surprised by the sound of it."

She also spoke about the collaborative process, saying, "It was an amazing experience working with all the people involved in the album and so great to see how everyone has different creative processes. It was really inspiring for me and also taught me lots of new things along the way."

Earlier in June, Carlita released the single "Planet Blue" through Ninja Tune's sub-label, Counter Records. This track, featuring Cleo Simone, is also part of Sentimental. Fans can look forward to an album that promises to reveal new facets of Carlita's musical journey, blending her club-ready sound with more introspective and unexpected elements.
