Disfreq hit 'TURBO' on new two-track EP

Irish electronic duo Disfreq has just shared the drop of their latest EP, TURBO via Arcane Music. The two-track release features Turbo and Brotata, showcasing the brothers’ signature blend of electro-techno with a darker, analogue edge.

Disfreq’s meteoric rise has seen their tracks championed by industry heavyweights such as Solomun, Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, and Tale of Us, among many others. With accolades like “Essential New Tune” on BBC Radio 1 and praise from figures like Danny Howard and Charlotte De Witte, Disfreq is leading the charge in the next generation of club music.

“TURBO” opens with an eerie synth and high-pitched vocal that quickly descend into a bass-driven, shadowy world of pulsating rhythms. The track is a masterclass in tension and release, propelling listeners into a frenetic, high-energy experience.

“Brotata”, the EP’s second track, is equally captivating. Disfreq’s meticulous attention to detail shines through in the layers of intricate percussion and haunting melodies that create an otherworldly atmosphere, drawing listeners deeper into its hypnotic groove.
