Will Saul’s Aus Music Celebrates 200 Releases
Will Saul's Aus Music label will mark its 200th release with a commemorative series of four EPs, featuring contributions from long-time label associates. The milestone will be celebrated with limited-edition marbled vinyl pressings and exclusive merchandise.
The series kicks off in September with Quantic, followed by Cinthie in October. Additional EPs will feature Dam Swindle, K-Lone, Chloe Robinson & DJ ADHD, as well as Saul himself alongside Fink. Rather than releasing a single compilation, Saul opted for a series of EPs spread over four months to allow each piece of music to shine on its own.
Launched in 2006, Aus Music quickly gained a reputation for its forward-thinking, club-ready releases, ranging from deep and melodic house to bass-driven post-dubstep. The label has been a platform for now-prominent artists like George FitzGerald, Bicep, and Dusky, and has played a significant role in shaping the UK electronic music landscape.
Reflecting on the label’s history, Saul recalls the excitement of the early 2010s, a time when a new sub-genre was emerging in the UK. Aus Music was at the forefront of this movement, releasing seminal tracks from artists like Joy Orbison, Midland, and Pearson Sound.
Even after 18 years and 200 releases, Aus Music continues to evolve, staying true to its roots while remaining a vital force in contemporary electronic music. Saul’s commitment to discovering and supporting fresh talent has kept the label relevant across generations, making it a trusted name for both DJs and dancers.
Anticipating the release of Quantic’s EP, Aus Music has already shared “Tropics”, the first single from the upcoming record.
