Kruder & Dorfmeister Unveil ‘The K&D Sessions’ Box Set

Austrian electronic duo Kruder & Dorfmeister are marking the 25th anniversary of their seminal album The K&D Sessions with a limited edition box set. Originally released in 1998 by Studio !K7 Records, the album has achieved global recognition, selling over a million copies and becoming a landmark in downtempo and electronic music.

The 25th Anniversary Box Set, set to release on October 25th, 2024, will feature six LPs or three CDs, all mastered and cut by renowned Los Angeles-based engineer Bernie Grundman. Alongside the music, the box set includes a 40-page booklet with rare, never-before-seen photographs and archival notes, providing fans with an in-depth look at the creation and legacy of The K&D Sessions.

The collection revisits some of Kruder & Dorfmeister’s most celebrated remixes, including their 11-minute version of Madonna’s “Nothing Really Matters”, Peter Kruder’s Powercut Mix of Roni Size’s “Heroes”, and their remix of U.F.O’s “L.O.V.E.”. Additional highlights include two alternate remixes of Lewis Taylor’s “Lucky” and a special remix of Count Basic’s “Speechless”.

To accompany the box set, Kruder & Dorfmeister have announced a ‘K&D Sessions Live Tour,’ slated for 2025. The tour will feature performances in key European cities, including London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Warsaw, with more details on dates and venues expected in early 2025.

With pre-orders now available, the 25th Anniversary Box Set of The K&D Sessions promises to offer fans an expanded and enhanced experience of one of the most influential albums in electronic music history.
