Mafia B & On Smash go supermassive on new EP

Coming in hot from his recent powerhouse of a rework for Kaiser Souzai’s “In Excess”, Manhattan-born DJ/producer Mafia B returns to ICONYC Red with the new two-track EP, “Supermassive” in collaboration with On Smash.

On the first cut, Mafia B’s “Supermassive” finds him going all-out as the producer takes us on a deep, underground joyride, complete with pulsating basslines and menacing percussive patterns, creating a gargantuan monster.

Closing out the EP, the New York-based artist links up with On Smash for “Imma Go Live”, a sublime trip that goes above and beyond, dripping pure energy across every bar as the pair devise a menagerie of tantalizing effects and vocal chops before adorning the piece with a monumental break prone to do some serious damage.
