Nathan Fake & Roman Flügel reimagine Sasha's new single

Electronic music pioneer Sasha continues his impressive 2024 run with the release of his latest EP, How to Wear Raybans Well, showcasing his signature style while exploring new sonic territories. The track comes with remixes by two heavyweight producers, Roman Flügel and Nathan Fake, adding diverse flavors to this atmospheric gem.

Sasha has been busy collaborating with artists like Super Flu & Sentre and releasing the solo single "Florian Drift", demonstrating his ongoing influence in the electronic music scene. His label, Last Night on Earth, has been a consistent platform for innovative melodic house and techno, and this new release further cements its reputation for cutting-edge sounds.

The original track, "How to Wear Raybans Well", is characterized by its fizzing dub chords and electric lines that create a dynamic, immersive mix. The deep-rooted drums add a subtle bounce, capturing listeners in a state of melodic techno bliss with its captivating layers.

Nathan Fake, known for his unique sound and mastery of synths and melody, delivers the first remix. With releases on labels such as Ninja Tune, Border Community, and his own Cambria Instruments, Fake strips down the original, emphasizing more defined drums and crisp hits. His remix unfolds with synths that bring a wide range of emotions, making it an engaging and captivating track.

On the flip side, Roman Flügel offers the second remix. Known for his versatility, Flügel's work spans micro house, acid, and techno, appearing on esteemed labels like Playhouse, Mule, Dial, and Live At Robert Johnson. His remix delivers a timeless surge of techno with waves of warm synths and relentless drum pressure, perfect for peak-time dance floor moments.
