Native Instruments to introduce subscription model, NI 360

Native Instruments has announced the launch of NI 360, a new tiered subscription service set to debut in late 2024. This innovative platform will offer access to a broad range of plugins from Native Instruments, as well as from Brainworx and iZotope, two companies NI acquired in 2022.

NI 360 will be available in three subscription tiers: Essentials, Plus, and Pro. The Essentials tier, costing $15 per month, will include over 50 plugins, featuring Ozone Elements from iZotope. The Plus tier, at $25 per month, will offer over 100 plugins, including Ozone Standard. The Pro tier, priced at $35 per month, will provide access to over 130 plugins, including premium tools like Kontakt 7 and Ozone Advanced.

The new service aims to provide users with an extensive and flexible toolkit, adding new instruments and releases to their subscriptions as they become available. Native Instruments has emphasized that NI 360 is designed to complement existing perpetual licenses, ensuring that users who already own licenses for plugins included in the subscription will retain their existing access.

NI 360 is designed to complement, not replace, perpetual licenses, offering additional flexibility and access to an expanding array of tools,” said a spokesperson from Native Instruments.

With the introduction of NI 360, Native Instruments aims to enhance the creative process for musicians, producers, and sound engineers by providing them with a versatile and expansive array of professional tools.
