Renowned DJ and techno pioneer Richie Hawtin is set to debut his groundbreaking innovation, DEX EFX X0X, at the 2024 Movement Festival in Detroit on May 26th and Sónar Barcelona on June 14th. This cutting-edge technology represents a significant advancement in electronic music, blending the past and future of DJing while emphasizing digital manipulation and advanced performance tools.
DEX EFX X0X builds upon Hawtin's dedication to electronic music and his iconic Decks, EFX & 909 series, incorporating modern performance technology to create a truly immersive sonic experience. Hawtin aims to shift the focus back to sound and away from visual spectacle, creating a more club-like atmosphere that prioritizes the audience's connection with the music.
