Serato presents new FX upgrades suite

In a move that promises to “revolutionize” the DJ experience, Serato has unveiled a series of FX upgrades for its flagship DJ software, Serato DJ Pro 3.2.0, and Serato DJ Lite 3.2.0. These enhancements, now available in public beta, are set to significantly augment the versatility and creativity of DJs.

The latest version boasts a new suite of custom-built FX, designed to elevate performance parameters and offer enhanced control. This includes new viewing modes, a redesigned FX panel, and channel FX that can be assigned to the filter knob for controllers without built-in FX capabilities. Additionally, users can now save up to four Favorite FX Banks, ensuring quick and easy access to preferred effects.

A standout feature of this upgrade is its optimized performance with native Apple Silicon support, facilitating seamless integration for Apple M1, M2, and M3 computers. This ensures that users benefit from the full power and efficiency of the latest Apple hardware.

Moreover, Serato has made significant improvements to its existing FX lineup, which includes the introduction of "Infinity Tone," "Spiral Echo," "Stretch," "Vast Reverb," "Infinity Flanger," and the much-anticipated return of "Rollout," a classic from Scratch Live.

These updates follow Serato's acquisition by AlphaTheta, the parent company of Pioneer, marking a new chapter for the company after 25 years of independent operation.
