Joseph Capriati delivers new 'GU:47 Montreal' compilation

Joseph Capriati has unveiled his debut entry in the iconic Global Underground mix series with GU47: Montreal.

The double-disc compilation celebrates nearly two decades of international touring, offering a deep dive into Capriati’s expansive influences and technical mastery. Known for his commanding presence in both house and techno, the Italian DJ and producer curates a mix that reflects his broad musical range.

The first disc, “Bright Disc”, explores his house influences, featuring tracks from artists like KiNK, Solomun, Louie Vega, Âme, and Fear-E. The second, “Obscure Disc”, shifts toward his signature high-energy techno, with selections from Indira Paganotto, Len Faki, Julieta Kopp, Oscar Mulero, and original productions by Capriati himself.

Global Underground founder Andy Horsfield praised Capriati’s inclusion in the series:

“As one of electronic music’s most in-demand headliners, Joseph Capriati’s impact on modern dance music is undeniable. From his legendary sets at Amnesia to his cutting-edge remixes for dance music legends such as Adam Beyer and Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati is a perfect fit for the next GU City Series. We are proud to bring you GU47: Montreal, a musical masterclass.”
