John Digweed & Nick Muir present 'Santiago 2024 Remixes'

Bedrock, the iconic duo constituted by John Digweed & Nick Muir, has announced a new set of takes on their classic cut, “Santiago”. The new offering, which features remixes by Montreal’s Sinca and Milan-based artist Cristina Lazic, will be available to stream and purchase via Bedrock Records on July, 26th.

Originally released back in 2005, Bedrock’s “Santiago” has built a lasting legacy in electronic dance music, having been remixed over the years by industry luminaries, including Guy Gerber, Chab, Joeski, and progressive maestro Hernán Cattáneo. Now, the fabled cut goes under the knives of Cristina Lazic and Sinca.

With a slick, sharp edge, Cristina Lazic reimagines “Santiago” as a driving, minimal piece that unfurls with extreme sophistication. For its part, Sinca flips Bedrock’s legendary cut into a state-of-the-art indie dance piece with some heavy-handed drum programming.
