Orbital reissue 1991's ‘The Green Album’ with collector's box

Orbital, the Hartnoll brothers’ pioneering act, has embarked on a journey back in time with the reissue of their seminal 1991 debut album, affectionately known as The Green Album. This reimagined release, meticulously curated by London Records, beckons fans old and new to rediscover the sonic marvels that helped define an era.

At the helm of this revival stand the maestros themselves, Phil and Paul Hartnoll, who have undertaken the task of remastering the tracks with a precision that breathes new life into familiar favorites. It's a milestone moment for the duo, marking the first-ever comprehensive remastering of these beloved compositions.

The reissue comes in a plethora of formats, catering to the diverse tastes of Orbital aficionados. From the lavish 4LP Box Set and 4CD Box Set to the sleek 2LP variants in both classic black and colored vinyl, and even a nod to nostalgia with the Cassette format, there's something for everyone to savor.

From the infectious grooves of the timeless anthem “Belfast” to the mesmerizing melodies of “Chime”, this album is a veritable time capsule of electronic euphoria. But the reissue also unearths hidden gems like “Satan” and unveils a trove of previously unreleased tracks, enriching the listening experience for die-hard devotees and newcomers alike.

To commemorate this auspicious occasion, Orbital offers fans a tantalizing taste of the present with “Tonight In Belfast”, a fresh collaboration featuring luminaries such as David Holmes, DJ Helen, and Mike Garry. Furthermore, the duo revisits their pre-Green Album EPs with a series of exclusive “Orbital LEDs” (Limited Edition Drops), ensuring that the celebration extends beyond the confines of nostalgia.
